Initial contact
You can contact us through the website or with a phone call. We will get back to you the same day or the next. We want you to tell us about your project. Some customers come to us knowing exactly what they want done and how they want it done. Others have ideas, sketches, or photos and would like our help to make their concept fit their particular needs. Some customers want to be very involved in their project - from design to construction to the choice and oversight of the sub-contractors - while others would like us to take care of all that. We don’t have a “one size fits all” approach. Communication is vital to the successful completion of your project.
Work Begins
At this point the contract has been signed, the schedule has been worked out, and the work begins. We will tell you what time we will be at the job site and if for any reason that changes, we will call you. The first day there will be lots of activity. Usually the first thing we do is protect whatever needs to be protected. This could mean putting up sheet plastic with pass/thru zippers at doorways or building temporary walls with plastic sheeting to create a barrier between the work area and adjacent living spaces. It’s standard procedure to protect your floors throughout the work area. If a dumpster or job materials are required at the start of the project it’s already on its way, and we will personally see to its proper placement. Sub-contractors such as electricians or plumbers have been scheduled long before the start of work and will be on site as needed.
Progress
This is an exciting step in the process as you see your project taking shape. The schedule has been worked out beforehand so, barring the unforeseen, work will progress at a rate in line with your expectations. If there are any issues or changes needed we will bring them to your attention along with a detailed description of what they are as well as options for moving forward.
Completion
At the “wrapping things up” step we will have made a detailed punch list and are moving through it to put the finishing touches on your project. We will be coordinating things such as sub-contractors, dumpster removal, job clean-up, etc. to bring your project to a successful close.
Service
We want you to be our customers for life. This means we want you to be happy not only with the beginning, middle, and end of a job but also with the post-project service we provide. After the successful completion of your project, we hope you’ll come to us with your next one.
And tell your friends about us!
